Amanda P.

“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees” ~ B.K.S. Iyengar

Amanda P.

Teacher

Amanda found yoga after she started her first office job and quickly realized how much damage sitting all day did to her body, and she realized how disconnected her mind was from her body. Growing up with a disabled parent, she was hyper aware of how important it is to prioritize maintaining range of mobility when exercising rather than being focused on achieving a certain physique.

As a yoga instructor, Amanda believes in principles over poses, how yoga feels in your body as opposed to creating a shape. Her experiences have taught her that yoga is not just a workout, but a way of life that makes us inhabit our bodies with intention. Her practice focuses on building up heat in power in order to be able to release stress and deeply meditate. Her classes are energetic and meditative, and her motto is “we take our yoga seriously, but never ourselves.

Chris K.

“Come as you are, find your edge, and don’t take yourself too seriously—I’ll bring the playlist and the fun.”

Chris K.

Teacher

Chris is here to prove that a workout can be a serious physical challenge and an absolute blast all at once. Known for his high-energy music and a healthy dose of fun, unfiltered nonsense, Chris curates an upbeat room where everyone is genuinely welcome to just show up and sweat.

His sculpt and yoga classes pair this welcoming environment with a Pilates and Barre-inspired flow. Expect seamless transitions, deep-burn stability work, and small-range pulses that challenge your grit. While he grew up a lifelong athlete playing competitive sports, his teaching style today is entirely focused on functional, feel-good movement.

With a professional background as a food processing engineer, Chris brings a technical, biomechanical perspective to the studio. His understanding of mechanics and alignment allows him to offer precise, intelligent adjustments, ensuring every sequence is safely accessible yet intensely rewarding. As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, his ultimate goal is to help you block out the fitness industry distractions, tap into your resilience, and leave class feeling successful.

When he’s not in the studio or traveling for work, you can usually find Chris checking out local restaurants with his fiance or trying to keep up with his dog, Marzie.

Dana H.

“Weaving the wisdoms gained from the body, the mat is the workshop and the breath is the bridge to carry us into a way of life with ease and grace as our guideposts.”

Dana H.

Teacher

Known for her soulful, creative flows, Dana Hancock is a sought-after vinyasa teacher in the beautiful Sonoma County.

Classically trained as an opera singer, musician, and composer, she sees yoga practice and teaching as an art form. Every class with Dana features fun, sweaty sequences, hands-on assists, spiritual teachings, and meditation.
A student of yoga since 2003, Dana trained with master teachers Lesley Desaulniers from the Jivamukti Yoga tradition and Nubia Teixeira from the Bhakti tradition. Dana has also studied harmonium and chanting with Grammy-nominated singer Jai Uttal, and infuses chanting into her each of her teachings.
A lifelong student, Dana continues to evolve her practice to better serve her community and share her passion for yoga. She is thankful to all the incredible teachers she’s encountered on her path and feels honored to be able to share this rich practice with others.

Danielle K.

“The whole story of evolution is simply the improvement or widening of a receiving capacity”
~ Satprem/Mother

Danielle K.

Teacher

Danielle’s passion for yoga blossomed while studying Jungian psychology in college. Carl Jung’s concepts of chakras, archetypes, and shadow work intertwined naturally with her daily practice.

Understanding how energy moves and transforms in the body became a pivotal part of her own personal healing.

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Jungian Psychology, she completed both Baptiste Power Yoga and Forrest Yoga certifications to earn her 500-hour teaching credential. She began teaching in 2004.

When she was diagnosed with a rare cancer at age 30, her immediate response was to step onto her mat. She didn’t stop teaching during this time because she believes community is part of practice. She teaches what she knows from experience.

She believes movement can be simple or complex; and equally beautiful and challenging. Yoga isn’t about reaching a destination or fixing a flaw, but rather about clearing the obstacles that prevent us from being present.

Elena G.

“Movement never lies. It’s a barometer telling the state of the soul’s weather.“

Elena G.

Teacher

Elena grew up in Southern California close to a thriving dance and movement culture. Her love of movement started at 4 when she began with gymnastics and dance. While at a competition dance studio she did a lot of conditioning that she would later realize was Pilates and barre based. An injury sent her to physical therapy where she got stronger, her dancing got better, and so on. She later became a dance major at CSU Long Beach where Pilates and body conditioning were part of her curriculum. Her professor for these classes was world renowned author and master trainer Karen Clippinger. She decided then Pilates was it and she has stopped since.

Starting her teaching training 10 days after graduation, she just hit her 10-year mark of being a BASI certified Pilates instructor with a dance specialization. Although she started with dancers, she’s worked with every type of human from prenatal mamas and to people coming back from injury.

Elena also holds certification in Lagree, Progressing Ballet Technique, and Stretch Coaching. She’s been teaching across Sonoma county since 2023 and we cannot wait to see what else she does from here.

Gary J.

“I love teaching yoga because it creates a space where breath, movement, sound, and community come together to help quiet the mind, open the heart, and feel more connected.”

Gary J.

Teacher

Gary is a lifelong athlete who believes that movement is both medicine and meditation, one of the most effective ways to quiet the mind. His yoga journey began over 25 years ago after moving to California and has recently evolved into a devotional path of practice, study, and community. He recently completed his RYT-200 and is currently training toward his RYT-500 with Janet Stone. Rooted in Vinyasa and inspired by bhakti, mantra, and meditation, Gary’s classes are breath-centered and intentional, blending strength, spirituality and softness while creating space for connection within yourself and the shared energy of the room. Off the mat, you’ll often find him running the Sonoma trails around Healdsburg.

Jamie K.

“Yoga has taught me that the simplest practices, like moving, breathing, and being present, often have the greatest impact”

Jamie K.

Teacher

Jamie is a yoga teacher, former math teacher, and mom of two. She has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and is a 450-hour certified yoga teacher.

What began as a way to build strength and flexibility has grown into a practice that helps her feel grounded, connected, and present in everyday life. Jamie has been teaching studio classes since June 2024 and began teaching yoga in local elementary schools through the Soul Yoga Foundation in the fall of 2025.

Jamie believes yoga offers something for everyone. Whether it’s learning to slow down, move the body, connect with the breath, or simply find a little more ease in the day, yoga has a way of meeting people exactly where they are. Her classes offer a balance of mindful movement, strength, breath, and relaxation.

Jezara B.

“I love teaching because movement has the power to reconnect people to themselves — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Creating a space where people feel stronger, more capable, and more at home in their bodies is incredibly rewarding”.

Jezara B.

Teacher

Her approach blends strength, mobility, nervous system support, and authentic connection to create an empowering and accessible experience for all levels.

Katie B.

“You see in the world that which you carry in your heart”

Katie B.

Teacher

Katie found Yoga to find herself. Meeting her mat in early 2020 back in Great Britain where she was born & raised, she began by completing thirty consecutive days of Yoga with Adrien YouTube videos; soon after, having established a deep reverence and respect for the magic of the practice, she joined a health centre & experienced her first in-studio sessions with a range of teachers.

Three years later, now practising daily & deepening her embodiment of breathwork & meditation practices alongside the evolution of posture, she followed what made her heart, body & mind feel most aligned, leaving her 9-5 job to complete her first 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in winter of 2023 on the healing island of Bali, Indonesia. This training integrated Eastern traditions & philosophy with Western anatomy and accessibility, exploring the dynamic depths of Yoga as more than a movement practice but as a journey to the spirit that sits at one’s heart.

She continues her studies into the present day & is now enhancing the healing offered from her hands-on assist during class by attending her Reiki 1 & Reiki 2 Training in the winter of 2026. Katie is known for the grounded energy she brings into the room – which she partly credits to her hobby of tree hugging – her calming, meditative voice supports her students’ presence during practice. As a soon-to-be ordained Priestess of the Divine Feminine, Katie brings blessings and prayer into her sessions through heartfelt elemental, lunar and astrologically inspired dharma talks, affirmations & insight. Katie’s cosy container gifts a realignment for your nervous system, a remembrance of how to listen again to the wisdom within your body, a rebirth into the peaceful power of the present.

Katie H.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self” – Bhagavad Gita

Katie H.

Teacher

Yoga has been a part of Katie’s life since her mom brought her to her first yoga class at the age of 17. Although she stumbled in and out of every pose, laughing her way through the class, the positive impact of that time on the mat was felt. So she kept going back.
As a teacher she strives to create a warm, welcoming and safe space, with an air of joy and playfulness, for people to move, feel, breathe and just be. She knows the power of the practice to heal, change and transform us. Her hope is that each practice brings you more peace, taking you closer to the truth of who you are, and that you leave feeling lighter, happier and more connected to the greatness of this life that we all share.

“Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim.” ~ B.K.S. Iyengar

Kim R.

Teacher

My favorite aspect of being a yoga teacher is the profound privilege of offering each student a thoughtful, mindful, and safe environment — a space where practice becomes a physical pursuit as well as a journey inward. Witnessing yogis challenge their limits, and discover new depths within themselves fills me with genuine joy and gratitude.

With over a decade of teaching experience, my intention is always to cultivate a strong foundation in every pose. I believe it is in the subtle nuances and the smallest shifts that transformation truly occurs. By emphasizing alignment and awareness, I strive to empower students to connect more deeply with their bodies and minds, making each practice uniquely their own.

I’m looking forward to seeing you on the mat.

Kristel D.

“All big things come from small beginnings. The seed of every habit is a single, tiny decision. But as that decision is repeated, a habit sprouts and grows stronger. Roots entrench themselves and branches grow. The task of breaking a bad habit is like uprooting a powerful oak within us. And the task of building a good habit is like cultivating a delicate flower one day at a time.”
~ James Clear

Kristel D.

Teacher

Kristel’s journey began in 2005 when a yoga and pilates class sparked a lifelong love of movement. Born and raised in the Philippines, Kristel moved to Sonoma County in 2018, embracing motherhood, community, and a renewed call back to the mat. Her classes welcome all levels with grace, strength, and flexibility. She teaches with warmth, clarity, and a genuine desire to help each student feel at home in their body, wherever they are in their journey.

Kristin B.

Kristin received her 200 hr YTT in 2019 at the Devi Yoga center in Sebastopol CA after feeling called to deepen her practice and expand her knowledge of the lineage. Upon completion of the program Kristin’s desire to share yoga with others and to continue her own studies became a life priority. Since then she has been actively instructing in a variety of styles including her foundational TriYoga, Vinyasa, Kama and restorative formats. Kristin has a passion for welcoming and supporting all those who come willing to step onto their yoga mats, in becoming the best version of themselves that they can become. As an instructor she aims to push her students to find levels of achievement without ever feeling overwhelmed and looks forward to providing a safe haven for self discovery for students at COR Yoga ♡

“Let your breath guide you, and your body surprise you”

Nadia L.

Teacher

Nadia discovered pilates during her first year of college and instantly loved it. When she graduated, she went on to pursue her mat and reformer pilates certification. Learning to challenge people in a way that uses low-intensity movement was so rewarding and educational for working with clients of all levels. She believes the alignment, stability, and breathwork of Pilates can help activate the small muscles we might not ordinarily think about, creating balance throughout the entire body.

Nadia also recently completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, focusing on classical vinyasa flow, hands-on posture alignment, pranayama (breathwork), and the philosophy of yoga’s effects on the mind and body. She believes yoga is not just about holding postures but stilling the mind, becoming fully present, and learning to calm the nervous system. Her classes will consist of a strong power flow suitable for all levels, incorporating inversions and fun ways to challenge poses. She is experienced in teaching clients of all abilities to make a class great for beginners, intermediates, and advanced learners.

Nadia also has a Lagree teaching certification and plans to do advanced training in restorative/yin yoga. She is so excited to see you on the mat and keep learning every day.

“When we let go of our battles and open our hearts to things as they are, then we come to rest in the present moment. This is the beginning and the end of spiritual practice.” Jack Kornfield

Nicole H.

Teacher

Originally from Switzerland, Nicole (she/her) discovered yoga during her travels in Indonesia. The practice of asana — and later, all the practices of yoga — allowed her to develop a deep connection to her body, calm her mind, and bring more authenticity into her life. Since completing her 500-hour YTT in San Francisco, Nicole continues to explore the practice with teachers from different lineages, including Jivamukti, Katonah, and Yin. She also offers Energy Clearings and Healing Circles using the method of Theta Healing.

Nicole holds space for her students as a journey toward an inner place called Home — where you meet yourself and bring that knowledge into the world. Through chanting, Pranayama (breath), and Asana (movement), we discover our preferences, soften our edges, and open our perspectives.

Renee M.

She is glad to be back on the studio floor.

Expect dynamic sessions that may draw on strength work, HIIT, calisthenics, and Pilates, paired with upbeat playlists and a supportive atmosphere. Renée thrives on the camaraderie and accountability of group fitness: the energy that helps people push a little further and leave moving better than they walked in.
